Villa Kata is built in the quiet fishermen´s village of Ražanj, in the bay of Mezaroca. It is perfect destination for families with children as well as for couples. Ražanj is a place without tourism, but you can find here all necessary as supermarket and restaurants. You will enjoy swimming in the crystal clear sea and while walking around the area you will find places whith unforgettable views of the whole bay. If you get tired of swimming and walking, you can take a trip to some of the interesting places nearby.

The villa is situated in a slope 70 m from the sea and the beach with concrete slabs, the pebble beach with a slow entrance to the sea is only 100 m away.

Right by the sea, only 70 m from the villa, there is a bakery and a restaurant (opened seasonly). The centre, where there is a supermarket, a café, five restaurants with a varied selection, a currency exchange and an information centre is 800 m or along the sea 1200 m.

Split airport is only 32 km away, the advantage is the location north of the city, so there is no need to pass through Split on the way to Razanj. The centre of Split itself is about 50 km away.

Only 12 km to the north is Rogoznica, a small town with a traditional historical centre with a pleasant promenade and a world-famous harbour. There are two large supermarkets, a pharmacy, a local doctor, a post office, a tourist information centre, a market with fresh fruit and vegetables and a fish market; in the summer months a water sports centre. In the main tourist season Rogoznica is a lively place with restaurants, bars and cafes, ice cream and souvenir stands. For those staying in Razanj, the regular boat taxi (departing only 70 m from Villa Kata) is a very pleasant way to visit.

With the cycle paths linking the whole area, cycling is a popular way of exploring the area.  It is possible to cycle through the countryside here quite comfortably with views of the sea. The climb here is not as demanding as, say, further south on the Makarska Riviera.
